Dale Hanson grew up on a farm and went on to teach high school agriculture, work as the Director of Soil and Water Conservation in Barron County, Wisconsin, complete a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science at U.W. Stevens Point, and teach in that same field at U.W. River Falls after retirement. He has a strong conservation ethic and a passion for environmental sustainability, all outdoor activities, and teaching.
